:)

This blog is going to be such a nice mix of make up tutorials, pictures, reviews and pregnancy adventures!!

In the midst of all my diaper and wipes buying I decided to spoil myself a little this past weekend with some beauty purchases.
First off, let me say that my hair has been every color under the sun, and after a 3 process bleach procedure you can guess how damaged it is!! Considering it’s also thick and down to my waist line, I have never encountered a curling iron that gave me what I wanted and that would last more than 2 hours with or without hairspray, until…………………..

This is my HG hair tool from now on. It’s amazing!!!!
It took me about 15 mins to curl my WHOLE head! It looked so gorgeous, I could’ve kept it curly, or brushed them out for mermaid looking waves. Seriously, I can’t say enough about it. And the best part? I used NO hairspray, and slept with my hair in a pony tail and the next day my hair still looked the same!!! I’m officially obsessed.
Also, Ulta had this on sale from $30 for $25 but with my handy $3.50 off coupon it was even more of a steal ;)
I should also mention that I planned on spending no more than $40, but I just had to make my way to the beauty part of Ulta too and end up with this:

Napoleon Perdis Foundation Stick in Look 2 (MAC NC20/25)
I swore to never use foundation sticks again after trying out Laura Geller’s (horrible break out yet super flaky dry skin???) but I was reeled in by all their pretty eye shadow colors! The sales lady told me this is as full coverage as it gets, and holy crap she was right! This is like a giant, creamy, smooth concealer stick for your whole face.
The thing I loved the most about this is the color is PERFECT to my skin tone. I even went outside before purchasing (it’s a little on the pricey side at $40) and you could not tell I was wearing make up, it just looked like I had amazing skin. After a few hours this also did not oxidize and made me orange :)
I read some reviews and people seemed to complain that it made them oily. I have a pretty oily t-zone and some dry patches around my mouth but this made everything look wonderful, I just used a little powder on my nose and forehead.
After my 7 hour shift in a lovely greasy restaurant enviroment and my face still looked flawless.
Overall, this is it for me and unless I get some crazy breakouts in the coming days (ahem, MAC Studio Fix Fluid) then I will never need to purchase anything else!!!!
